Mary Ann Bobo Carr, 59, of Chatham, passed away peacefully Friday, February 2, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center, with her family by her side. She was born February 15, 1958 to the late John Vernon and Irene Josephine Kalist Shutz. She married Roger A. Carr April 13, 2005. Mrs. Carr was fondly known as Bobo by her grandchildren and hundreds of children who received loving care from her at Bobos Daycare in the past 20 years. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Roger; children Danielle (Kevin) Ladage of Chatham, Jenny (Nick) Karrick of Auburn, Stephanie Vandenbossche (Darren Turley) of Chatham; Chris (Melissa) Vandenbossche of Belleville; step children, Kayla Carr of Chatham and Tristain Carr of Chatham; grandchildren, Dalton, Blake, Jeremiah, Carter, and Amelia Vandenbossche, Katelynn, Zachary and Colton White, Addison and Cooper Ladage, Natalie and Jonah Karrick; siblings, John (Sharon) of Eureka, MO, Bob of Springfield, and Harry Shutz of Salisbury, Irene (Tom) Noll of Thayer and Nancy (Jason) Dodd of Riverton; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her family will greet friends from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm, Wednesday, February 7, at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 1225 N Main Street, Chatham, 62629, with Reverend Clarence Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Chatham Memorial Cemetery.
