Marjorie E. "Marj" Kloba, 62, of Sherman, died at 8:20 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center. Marj was born May 18, 1946 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Herb and Thelma Halquist Etzel. She married Joseph Kloba on November 26, 1966 in Duplainville, WI. Marj was employed as an administrator at Villa West Retirement Center. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. She most enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Pete Weber. She is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Joseph Kloba of Sherman; two sons, Kris (wife, Jenna) Kloba of Lincoln and Kurt (wife, Tammy) Kloba of West Allis, WI; two granddaughters, Sydney Kloba of West Allis, WI and Madison Kloba of Lincoln; one sister, Mary Liz (husband, Ray) Jast; and five brothers, Richard (wife, Chris), Paul (wife, Pat), Bill (wife, Liz), Fred (wife, Melissa) and Mike (wife, Lily) Weber. Family will receive friends from 5:00 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2008 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. An additional visitation will be held from 9:00 9:45 a.m. prior to funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 902 St. John's Dr., Sherman with Father Ralph Zetzl, OFM celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
