Lori A. Wilcox-Puckett, 44, of Chatham, died on Monday, August 28, 2006 at her residence. She was born February 3, 1962 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Charles “Chuck” and Barbara Voigts Wilcox. She joined the Chatham community two years ago and had been most recently employed for several years at Bob Evan’s Restaurant. Lori enjoyed reading, keeping journals and was a NASCAR fan. She was friendly, outgoing, easy to talk to, and a proud mother of three sons. She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by three sons: Justin Bodine of Riverton, David Peterson of Springfield, and Aaron Puckett of Petersburg; her mother: Barbara (husband, Evan) Moss of Springfield; her companion Thomas Laws of Thayer; one sister: Lynne (husband, Chris) Kusnerick of Maryville; two aunts: Eleanor (husband, Reg) Jokisch and Janet (husband, Ed) Rehak; one uncle: John (wife, Sara) Wilcox; two nephews: Brian and Jason Kusnerick and nine cousins: Marge Kline, Bob and Jim Rehak, Matt and Dave Wilcox, Jennifer Wilcox, and Kevin, Mark and Brad Jokisch. Cremation accorded by the Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Memorial Ceremonies will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, with Pastor Roosevelt S. Smith officiating.
