Loretta Burt

Loretta Burt, 60, of Riverton, passed away on April 22, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Loretta was born on April 8, 1953, in Bourbon, MO, the daughter of Thomas and Emma Flaim Crowder. Loretta was a very loving and caring person, and she practiced as an LPN for many years in the Springfield area. She worked at the Illinois Presbyterian Home for 22 years, Roosevelt Square Assisted Living in Springfield, and at Petersburg Manor. As well as caring for her patients Loretta dearly loved her family, and her 3 Yorkies; Sarah, Barney, and Binkey.

Surviving Loretta is her son, Christopher (Rachel) Burt of Eyota, MN, her sisters; Cynthia Perry of San Diego, CA, Viola (Ken) Moger of Harker Heights, TX, Lucia Crowder of Olney, MD, her brother Earl (Cassandra) Crowder of New Bern, NC, and a step-brother Gary (Cathy) John of St. James, MO.She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Neal Crowder.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 3 pm at Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 S Koke Mill Rd Springfield IL 62711.The family will receive friends from 2 pm until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
