Lola "Marilyn" Noe, 88, of Springfield, died at 3:59 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013 at St. Joseph Home. Marilyn was born October 10, 1925 in Rockford, the daughter of C.V. and Dorothy Ollman Kopf. She married Robert J. Noe on June 1, 1946 in Rockford; he preceded her in death on July 29, 2004. Marilyn was a graduate of Shannon High School and was primarily a homemaker throughout her life. While in Rockford, she was employed as a clerk at Adams Corn Curls. She was a member St. Joseph's Church for 19 years and most recently a member of Church of the Little Flower. Marilyn enjoyed baking, especially anything chocolate, dancing, and spending time with her family. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles Kopf, Jr. and Jon Kopf. She is survived by her children, Melody Noe of Springfield, Ralph (wife, Juanita) Noe of Pleasant Plains, Maureen (husband, Jack) Kornfeld of Springfield, and Lynette (husband, Dan) Thompson of Rochester; four grandchildren, Cristina Duarte-Noe of Pana, Paul Duarte-Noe of Springfield, and Haley and Blake Thompson of Rochester; several step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild, Skye Yoggerst-Noe; several step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass: 9:30 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Church of the Little Flower, 800 Stevenson Dr., Springfield with Rev. Msgr.
