She was born in Springfield on May 15, 1964, the daughter of Walter and Judith (Ambuehl) Brockschmidt.
Lisa graduated Southeast High School with the class of 1982. In 1999, she began her work at Sacred Heart-Griffin High School, later becoming the administrative assistant of their athletic department, acting as the safe place for many students who attended. She enjoyed Bocci Ball at Obed and Isaacs, country concerts, and a nice cold beer. Lisa also loved to travel to Florida.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter; and sister, Lori Brockschmidt.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Judy; son, Hunter Burg; daughter, Kaylee Burg; brother, Rich (Betty) Brockschmidt; and beloved cats, Ray Ray and Newton.
Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends on Monday, June 10, 2024, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the gymnasium at Sacred Heart-Griffin West Campus, 1603 W. Washington St., Springfield.
Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the Sacred Heart-Griffin East Chapel, 1200 W. Washington St., Springfield, with Father Michael Friedel officiating.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
