She was born on May 11, 1953 in Merrillville, IN. Her parents were Denzil Edgar and Marjorie Monzella (Doriot) Cole. She married Charles Parrish in 1974 in Gary, IN and he preceded her in death on June 8, 2006.
Linda was, along with her husband, very active with both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. She had attended Douglas Avenue United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter Nikki (husband Daniel) White and her grandson Rand Linton, all of Kincaid, IL
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her son Jeremy Parrish.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd., Springfield, where a memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 11:30 am, with Rev. Mark Gifford officiating. Inurnment will follow at Old Salem Cemetery, Springfield. Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded.
Memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America.
