Lewann Groan Miller

She was born on September 27, 1936 in Springfield, the daughter of the late Lewis K. and Inez (Hermann) Groan. She married Urban D. Miller on April 19, 1999 in Jacksonville, IL, and he preceded her in death in July of 2013.

Lewann worked as an administrator for the State of Illinois. She was a member of First Congregational Church in Springfield.

She is survived by 3 children, Kenneth F. (wife Deb) Easton of Sherman, IL, Kevin D. (wife Lori) Easton of Buckhart, IL, and Karen L. (husband Ed) Ferguson of Bloomington, IL; 3 step-children, Becky (husband Jim) Schlouch of Springfield, Pauline Miller of Atlanta, GA, and Terry Bridges of Moroa, IL; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield. Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded. No services are scheduled at this time.

Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children or Sailor Circus, Sarasota, FL.
