L. Jean Sharp

Jean passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at her home.

She attended Lanphier High School and Lincoln Land College. She was employed by United Rent-Alls for 23 years, retiring from Harper Oil Co. in 2004. Jean also volunteered for BBBS and Senior Services and was an active member of DUVCW and VFW Auxiliary.

Jean is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ronda and Jeffrey Alinger of Glenarm; her grandson Austin Alinger of Springfield; 2 sisters, Linda Davis and Barbara Braner, both of Springfield; 1 niece; and several nephews.

Besides her parents, Jean was preceded in death by a son Jeffrey Heineman; a brother Dwayne Sharp; and 2 sisters, Carolyn Jacobs and JoAnn Pulizos.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, Springfield. In keeping with Jean’s wishes, cremation rites were held.

Inurnment will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Williamsville, IL on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11 am.
