Kenneth B. Schnapp

Kenneth B. Schnapp, 93, of Springfield, passed away on June 11, 2023 at his residence. He was born on March 29, 1930 in Pleasant Plains, Illinois to Paul Schnapp and Josephine Irwin Schnapp. Kenneth married Greta Aldridge in Springfield on January 18, 1974 and she survives.

Mr. Schnapp is also survived by his children: Deborah Mataya of Springfield, Tom (Theresa) Schnapp of Springfield, and Steve (Becky) Schnapp of Humansville, MO., and one step-daughter Teresa (Chris) Millmore of Bloomington, sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, and two sisters: Peg (Frank) Leskovisek of Pawnee and Carol Garrett of Springfield. He was preceded in death by two sons: Kenneth R. and Michael P. Schnapp and five siblings: Loren, Robert, Richard and George Schnapp and Ruby Krueger.

Kenneth was a US Air Force Veteran and he worked as a manager for Fiat Allis.

A private graveside service was held at Rock Creek Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to West Side Christian Church.
