Kenneth A. "Kenny" Miller

He was born on December 18, 1937 to Ruth (Fox) and Allen Miller. His father preceded in death by his father.

On November 19, 1988, Kenny married Linda Dixon Castleman and she survives. He is also survived by his mother, Ruth, sons Kerry (Cyndi) Miller, and Kent Miller, and his daughter, Kim Davis. He is also survived by his step-daughter, Sheila (Marty) Marr, Step-sons Terrence (Joni) Castleman and Todd (Kendra) Castleman, his grandchildren; Kyle (Brandy), Kelsi, Kallen, Joe (Angie), Krystal, and Jennifer, his step-grandchildren; Matthew, Evan, Jared, McKenzie, Austin and Macy, five great-grandchildren, his sister, Janet (John) Moellman, a niece, a nephew, an aunt, and an uncle.

Kenny was a graduate of Auburn High School, Class of 1955. He served in the Air National Guard from 1956 to 1959. Kenny has been actively farming and in pork production in the Auburn area all his life. He was a member of the Sangamon County Farm Bureau, and was named as an Honorary Chapter Farmer of the Auburn F.F.A. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn. He was an aviation enthusiast and pilot. He loved cars.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday July 3, 2012 from 4-7 pm at Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd, Springfield, IL with a funeral service there at the funeral home at 10 am Wednesday, July 4, 2012 with Rev. William Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow in the Virden Cemetery, Virden, IL.
