Kenneth E. Lehman, 74, of New Berlin, died at 5:05 a.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at St. John's Hospice. Ken was born July 31, 1939 in Springfield, the son of Ernest L. and Mildred Fritz Lehman. Ken was a 1956 graduate of Lanphier High School and worked in construction from 1962-1971. He owned Harbor Lights Tavern in New Berlin for 13 years and spent 20 years as an electrician, with 3 of those years working for the Pinellas School Board. Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1955-1962 as a paratrooper. He was a member of the VFW #4773 in Iverness, FL, American Legion Post 77, and Amvets Lifemember in Pinellas, FL. Kenneth was a very proud veteran and enjoyed gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Beverly; second wife, Patricia; and two sisters, Norma Ausmus and Delores Little. He is survived by five sons, Kenneth L. (Annette) Lehman of New Berlin, Ernest Lehman of Wisconsin, Michael (Bridgette) Lehman and Matthew Lehman (Jamie), both of New Berlin, and Chris (Shelley) Lehman of Loami; two daughters, Kimberly (John) Meneghetti of Springfield and Rebecca (husband, Peter) Lovett of Loami; one step-son, John Durbin of Clearmount, FL; 24 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five brothers, Chuck (Brenda) Lehman of Clinton, Larry (Carlene) Lehman of Vandalia, Jerry and Steve Lehman, both of Springfield, and David (Janet) Lehman of Riverton; and three sisters, Denise Neal of Sherman, Ellen Abbott of Troy, and Shirley Burt of Kansas City, KS. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center and private family ceremonies will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to: Memorial Home Hospice, Attn: Donations and Giving, 720 N.
