Kientzel Sr., 66, of Murrayville, IL formerly of Taylorville, IL died Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.He was born in St. Louis, MO, May 20, 1943 the son of Adolph J. and Evelyn M. (Strunk) Kientzel. His parents and his brother David preceded him in death. Ken married Donna Duggins in Jacksonville, IL January 21, 1989. Prior to his retirement, Ken was the owner and operator of Classic Interiors. He was a member of Jacksonville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and a former member of Taylorville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Surviving are his wife, Donna, his four sons, Ken (wife Leslie) Kientzel Jr. of Clinton, IN, Dan (wife Brandy) Kientzel of Conroe, TX, Tim (wife Teresa) Kientzel of Taylorville, IL, and Jonathan Kientzel of Chesterfield, MO, his daughter JoAnna (husband Ryan) Followell of Glen Carbon, IL his step-daughter, Dora Jean (husband Brian) Quinn of California, nine grandchildren, three brothers, Gerald (wife Rosemary) Kientzel of Overland, MO, Ray (wife Lori) Kientzel of St. Louis, MO, and Jack (wife Bonnie) Kientzel of St. Peters, MO, a sister-in-law Connie G. Kientzel of St. Charles, MO, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch & Son Funeral Home 505 E. Allen, Springfield, IL where visitation will be Saturday September 12, 2009 from 2PM until time of services there at 5:00 PM with Elder Richard Schilly officiating.
