Judith was born December 30, 1940, in Pana, the daughter of John and Thelma White Hay. She married Loren Eldon Curtis, Sr. on September 4, 1959, in Springfield.
Judith was a graduate of Springfield High School. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. Judith was employed at Hoosier Tire Midwest. She enjoyed reading Amish history, vegetable canning, flower gardening, and spending time with her family.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John and James Hay; and two sisters, Jacqueline Kolaz and Janice Gramlich.
She is survived by her husband, Loren E. Curtis, Sr. of Springfield; daughter, Lori E. Usherwood of Springfield; son, Loren E. (Angela) Curtis, Jr. of Loami; five grandchildren, Cole Usherwood, and Cassandra, Cheyanne, Candace, and Cody Curtis; sister, Jennifer (Mike) McKinney of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
Graveside Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Roselawn Memorial Park with Rev. Michael Koschmann officiating.
