John is survived by his wife, Ida Ryan; three sons, Donald Ryan, James Ryan, and John Ryan; and daughter, Lisa Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Doris and Mary; and brother, Jim Ryan.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
Graveside Ceremony: 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield with Parian Hull, celebrant. Military honors provided by the Interveterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County and the United States Army Burial Detail.
