John Frank Rosinski

John Frank Rosinski, 84, of Springfield died at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006 at his home. John was born on January 29, 1922 in Poland, the son of Franek and Katarzyna Kurek Rosinski. He married Jennie Sowikin and she preceded him in death in 1973. He then married Helena Jastrzebska in 1976 in Poland. John was employed at Springfield School District 186 for nineteen years, and part-time at St. John's Hospital for over ten years. He was a member of St. Katherine Drexel Parish at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was also preceded in death by his parents and two sons: Donald and James Rosinski. He is survived by his wife, Helena; two step sons: Andrzes Kucharski of Chicago and Marek Kucharski of Krakow, Poland; two step grandchildren; and good friends, Krystyna and Tad Krukowski of Springfield. The Funeral Procession will meet at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2006 and process to Calvary Cemetery for Graveside Services at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Michael Haag officiating.
