Jeffrey Alan Nelson, 62, of Visalia, CA, formerly of Springfield, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014 at his residence. Jeff was born July 6, 1951 in Springfield, the son of Norman and Bonnie Rush Nelson. Jeff was a graduate of Springfield High School and Elgin Community College. He was a Mason, a member of Tebala Shrine Temple and the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 23 in Rockford, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Julie Smith. He is survived by his daughter, Amy (husband, Andrew) Limoli of Londonderry, NH; granddaughter, Taylor Limoli; sister, Candace Nelson; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation was accorded prior to ceremonies in Visalia, CA. Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
