She was born on January 30, 1932 in Lake Geneva, WI, the daughter of the late Basil and Fay Elizabeth (Borland) Periman. She married Arnold H. Miller on August 5, 1950. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1998.
Ida worked as a legal secretary for Horsley Law Office, retiring in December of 1995. Prior to that, she had worked as an office manager at Lincoln Land Title Co. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Springfield.
She is survived by three children; Scott (wife Nancy) Miller of Kennesaw, GA, Jeff (wife Mary Jo) Miller of Champaign, IL, and Kathy (husband Jim) Krstulovich of Springfield, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a brother Basil (wife Mary) Periman of LaMoille, IL. Rachael Sims Mosley (husband Micheal) of Bloomington, IL was a very endearing person in Ida and Arnie’s life.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters; Florence Doyle and Marjorie Barrett.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield. Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded. No services are scheduled at this time.
