Harry R. Anderson

Harry R. Anderson, 82, of Springfield, passed away on September 16, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born on January 22, 1937 in Springfield to James Frederick Anderson and Esther Marie McBride. Harry married Beverly Williams on January 17, 1972 and she survives.

Mr. Anderson is survived by eleven children, one sister, Lillie Baker, thirty two grandchildren, thirty nine great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Woody Judd and one sister, Norma Skelton.

Harry was a US Navy Veteran and a painter for many years. He retired from Sasco East. Mr. Anderson was the founding member and President of the Harry Anderson Bowling League for forty one years.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday September 19, 2019 at Camp Butler National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Northenders VFW Post 10302.
