Genevieve V. Klutnick

Genevieve V. Klutnick, 89, of Springfield, died at 2:45 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2003 at St. John’s Hospital. Genevieve was born April 3, 1913 in Springfield, the daughter of John and Magdalen Ziogas Buguveski. She married John W. Klutnick May 7, 1949 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church; he preceded her in death September 11, 2000. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, a member of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Agnes, The Fraternal order of Eagles Auxiliary and the Lithuanian-American Club. She was also preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters. She is survived by one son: James (wife, Susan) Klutnick of Huntington Beach, CA; one grandson: Jonathan Klutnick of Huntington Beach, CA; one sister: Veronica “Betty” Chernis of Springfield and several nieces and cousins. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 4-6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2003. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2003 at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Patrick J. Wright celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family of Genevieve V. Klutnick is being served by Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
