Gayle Marlene Robinson

Gayle was born August 14, 1955 the daughter of Scott and Dorothy McDonald. Her parents preceded her in death.

She was a Registered Nurse, working at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield and then at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton, specializing in Mental Health. She was a loving daughter, mother and dear friend. She was selfless, always helping and caring for family, friends and even those she barely knew. She enjoyed crafts and was always making something for someone. She was a past member of Woodside United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her two sons; Michael (wife Heather) Robinson of Dickinson, TX and Patrick (wife Danielle) Robinson of League City, TX, her daughter, Kaitlyn Robinson of Alton, IL, her six grandchildren: McKenzy Robinson, Keaton Robinson, Karley Robinson, Cameron Cionek, Reese Robinson and Avery Cionek, her two brothers; Brian (wife Susan) McDonald of LeRoy, IL, and Scott (wife Cathy) McDonald of Springfield, IL. There are several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation Rites will be accorded by the Bisch Crematory.

Memorial Gathering and Memorial Service: The Robinson family will receive friends on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd., Springfield, IL from 1:30 pm until time of her memorial service at 3:00 pm. Rev. Mark Gifford will officiate. Private inurnment will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield.
