Dorothy Archer Scott

Dorothy was born February 23, 1921 the daughter of the late Robert and Blanche (Miller) Judd in Greenwood, MS. She was also preceded in death by her beloved stepfather, Roscoe Lipe.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Linda and Mike Luepke of Springfield, stepbrother Judge Lyle Lipe of Peters-burg, stepsister Margo Lipe Anderson of Liberty, MO., and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy worked for Sears for many years in Retail Sales. She loved spending time with family and friends. She loved to dance, especially Square Dancing. She enjoyed crafts and was very artistic. She was also a member of the Woodside Methodist Church and Third Presbyterian Church in Springfield.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home 505 E Allen Springfield from 5pm to 7pm. A graveside service will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield at 10:30 am Thursday, April 14, 2011 with Reverend James Poole officiating.

In lieu of flowers memo-rials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
