Diana Jo Runge

Diana Jo "Dee" Runge, 62, of Ocala, Florida formerly of Springfield, passed away on the 13th day of September, 2010 in Ocala, Florida. Diana was born March 9, 1948 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Bernice and Joseph Lauduskie. She attended Lanphier High School. She lived most of her life in Springfield and Chatham, Illinois and the past five years in Ocala. She was a member of the APL and loved all animals, especially her dogs Tina, Sadie and Daisy. Diana worked at Hospital Sisters Incorporated of Springfield as an Executive Assistant and had a business in Ocala as a pet sitter. She was an active member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Chatham, Illinois. She enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley music, playing Bunco and loved being with her friends and family. She married John Runge on Valentine's Day 1987. She was previously married to Stanley Miles, he preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, John Runge of Ocala, Florida; a daughter, Adriana G. Schroeder of Springfield; a son, Christopher R. (wife, Mandi) Miles of Springfield; a grandson, Bennett Miles of Springfield; a brother, Edward (wife, Nancy) Lauduskie of Marietta, Georgia; a sister, Sandra (husband, James) Bloom of Chatham; step-children, John S. (wife, Andrea) Runge of Springfield and Shelley (husband, Mark) Brunson of Morrisville, North Carolina; step-grand children, Kelley Doering, Marquette and Luke Brunson; two nephews, Evan Bloom and Ryan Lauduskie; and a niece, Michelle Schwartzmann. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 20, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Liturgy of the Word will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 700 E. Spruce, Chatham with Deacon Frank Maynerich officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
