Charles E. “Charlie” Hinkle, 61, a life long resident of Springfield, went to be with the Lord Monday March 1, 2010 at 1:46 AM
He was born in Springfield, January 1, 1949 the son of Charles and Rose Keller Hinkle. His parents, a half brother, Albert Julius and a half sister Dorothy Hewitt preceded him in death.
He married Lucinda “Cindy” Mancuso in Springfield June 20, 1981 and she survives. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Charlie worked as a Mercedes Benz parts specialist at Giuffre Buick Mercedes Benz for over 19 years. He then worked for E.L.A. Security as a guard retiring in July 2009
He was a devoted member of the Elm Street Christian Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch & Son Funeral Home 505 E. Allen Springfield, where visitation will be from 4-7 PM Friday March 5, 2010. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday March 6, 2010 at the Elm Street Christian Church 3020 E. Elm Springfield with Rev. Paul Cox officiating. Cremation Rites will be accorded following the service. Inurnment will be private at a later date.
