Charles E. Flynn

Charles E. Flynn, 71, of Berlin, passed away at 7:43 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2003 at Memorial Medical Center after a long illness. Charles was born March 30, 1932 in Alexander, IL the son of Silas and Ida May DeMoss Flynn. He married Iva Nevonda Brown on September 20, 1952 in Jacksonville, IL He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Flynn and a sister, Rose Flynn. He is survived by his wife: Iva Flynn of Springfield; seven daughters: Margaret Flynn, Rita Flynn, Brenda Flynn, Patsy Conrad and Loretta Flynn all of Springfield, Rose (husband, Matt) Britz and Linda Mulcahy both of Thayer; two sons: Jim Flynn of Florida and Paul Flynn of Springfield; eighteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2003. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2003 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Reverend George I. Heineman officiating. Burial will follow at Old Berlin Cemetery.
