Carl Frank Turner, 64, of Springfield, passed away Friday, January 10, 2003 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Carl was born April 24, 1938 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Frank and Merle Taber Turner. He married Rita Corona September 12, 1959 in Chicago. Mr. Turner was employed as a pipefitter and was a member of Plumber and Steamfitters Local Union #137 where he had also been a business agent; he retired in 1995. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #500 and a member of the Shriners. He was preceded in death by parents, one brother, David and one sister, Linda. He survived by his wife Rita of Springfield; two daughters: Traci and Tandi Turner both of Springfield; three brothers: Frank (wife, Christine) Turner, Joseph “Buzz” (wife, Patti) Turner, Melvin Turner all of St. Louis, MO and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 4-7:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2003 with a Masonic Service at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Fr.
