Bryan K. Brooks, of Sprinfield, died at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at his home. Bryan was born on June 21, 1956 in Springfield, IL. He was a wonderful father who loved his children and was a friend to many. Bryan loved NASCAR racing and he considered himself a Jack of all Trades, Master of None. Preceding Bryan in death was his son, Nicholas Brooks. Bryan is survived by his sons, Cody and Jacob Brooks of Springfield, Ray Whitlock of Nashville, TN; and his best friend and cousin, Gary Heckwine of Springfield. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Private graveside ceremonies will be held at Horse Creek Cemetery.
