Brian L. Harris

Brian L. Harris, 26, of Athens, passed away on Wednesday October 3, 2012. He was born on June 22, 1986 in Springfield, IL., the son of Roy and Connie Brasselle Harris. He is survived by his parents of Athens, his son Grayson Williams of Athens, his daughter Jerin Harris of Springfield, three sisters: Rebecca (husband Justin) Anderson of Athens, Cindy Harris of Athens, and Amy Heikes of Petersburg, three brothers: Bruce (Megan) Harris of Athens, Tom (companion Stephanie) Cody of Indiana, and John Heikes of Springfield, paternal grandmother Leona Harris of Springfield, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Brian worked for Giacomini Builders in Springfield as well as Lighthouse Construction in Elkhart. He enjoyed fishing, going mudding, and spending time with his children, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday October 12, 2012 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen St., with Rev. Merle Buerkett officiating, and burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will meet friends from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home on Friday.
