Bonnie Joan Gleeson

Bonnie Joan Gleeson, 82, of Springfield, died at 4:50 a.m. on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. Bonnie was born in Carlinville on December 4, 1930, the daughter of Herbert A. Klaus and Lora A. Harris Klaus. She married James C. Gleeson on December 27, 1952 at St. Joseph Catholic Church; he preceded her in death in 2003. Mrs. Gleeson retired from the Sangamon County Auditor's Office. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Altar Society, and St. Louise De Marillac Guild. She is also preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by two sons, Brad (wife, Adrienne) Gleeson of St. Charles, MO, and Chris (fianc, Angela Shiley) Gleeson of Springfield; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Kelly, Madelyn, Joseph, and Zachary Gleeson. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 245 N. Amos, Springfield. Funeral Mass: 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, with Rev. Robert J. Jallas, celebrant.
