She was born on September 10, 1950 in Peoria, IL, the daughter of the late Mike and Cleo (Fomera) Mackanin. She married Wilbur Glick, Jr. on July 18, 1995 in Springfield and he survives.
Barbara worked for the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Besides her husband, she is survived by 3 children, Barbara Jeane (husband Zach) Kelley, Nichole Jones, and Rodger Lee (wife Kadi) Jones, Jr.; 5 grandchildren, Aaron Eddington, Jr., Brooke Jones, Addison Jones, Cypriana Adams, and Ryder Jones; and her sister Arlene “Ant Doe”
Mackanin.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Sharon L. Dukes and Anna M. Mackanin, 1 brother Michael J. Mackanin, and her poodle “Lil Og”.
Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 4 until 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 10 am at the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Twist officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pulaski Cemetery, Mt. Pulaski, IL.
