Austin Wyatt Stults entered into eternal life on Sunday, July 28, 2013, as a result of a car accident in Springfield. He was born on February 28, 1988 in Springfield, the son of Bryan and Sherry Stults. Austin attended Trinity Lutheran School and graduated from Springfield High School in 2006. He made many friendships from those early years, and was proud to carry on his father's love and passion for the game of billiards. Austin was a big cousin and mentor to Zachary, Brittany, Jordan, Brooke, Hunter, Ellie, Tyler, Lane, Chase, and Evan. Austin loved the outdoors, camping, fishing with his family and friends, and playing golf. He pursued his passion for cooking, and was a long-time employee at Maldaner's Restaurant, learning the trade from Chef Michael Higgins. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Austin spent a lot of time with his God-cousins, the Lyons family of Waverly, who gave him the nickname, Sally. Austin leaves behind his mother and best-friend, Sherry Allen, as well as his partner and companion, Sarah Bly and his stepson, Stanley. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Bonnie Watkins of Waverly; several aunts and uncles: Tonya (Dave) Voepel of Sherman, Kim Alexander of Springfield, Tracy (Brad) Bacon of Palmyra, Michael (Leslie) Watkins of Waverly, Heather Myers of Springfield, Sharilyn (Dave) Stewart of Springfield and Steve (Marilyn) Stults of Smithton; and several cousins, Justin and Brandon Stewart, and Jarrod, Jordan and Joel Stults. He was preceded in death by his father, Bryan Stults and paternal grandparents, Russell and Betty Stults, paternal great-grandmother, Pauline Stults; and an uncle, Rich Stults. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following ceremonies. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
