She was born on March 4, 1961 in Quincy, IL, the daughter of Thomas Strieker and Barbara (Hoener) Strieker. She married Jeffery Derrick on September 21, 1991 in Springfield and he survives.,
Ann worked as a nurse at St. John’s Hospital from 1983 until April of 2020. She created greeting cards and was a dealer of them for Stampin’ Up!.
Besides her husband Jeffery, she is survived by her mother Barbara Strieker of Quincy, IL; her 7 siblings, Jim (Jeanne Rowald) Strieker of Janesville, WI, Ken (Mary) Strieker of Carol Stream, IL, Mark (Lyn) Strieker of Quincy, IL, Dan (Kathy) Strieker of Brentwood, MO, Steve Strieker of Janesville, WI, Tom (Kim) Strieker of Quincy, IL, and Julie (KJ) Whittaker of Quincy, IL; 22 nieces and nephews; and 8 great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Thomas E. Strieker and all of her grandparents.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd., Springfield, where visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022 from 4 to 7 pm. Private family services will be held later with burial at Old Salem Cemetery, Springfield. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
