Allen L. Park

Allen was born November 29, 1939, in Loami, IL, the son of Clinton L. and Eunice English Park. He married Sandra “Sue” Wables on February 6, 1960, in Wachula, FL; she preceded him in death on March 8, 2021.

Allen graduated from New Berlin High School and owned and operated Maxwell trucking. He was also a farmer and a member of the Shriners and Masons.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Erion L. Park; and sisters, Joan Hanselman and Janet Peecher.

Allen is survived by his daughter, Angela L. (husband, Ed) Park Shoup of Springfield; four grandchildren, Clinton Park of Loami, Jarrod and Eric Shoup of Auburn, and Lakken (husband, Kody) Nimmo of Farmersville; brother, Rhea Park of Loami; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.

Graveside Ceremony: 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Loami, IL with Greg Nimmo officiating.
