Alice M. Reynolds

She was born on March 9, 1929 in Springfield, the daughter of the late Russell and Edna Francis (Merrifield) Dean. She married Delbert H. Reynolds on August 21, 1949 in Springfield, and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2009.

Alice worked as a clerk for Myers Brothers in Springfield and was a member of West Side Christian Church in Springfield.

She is survived by her 3 children, Steve (wife Debbie) Reynolds of Auburn, IL, Sheryl Reynolds, and David H. (wife Deb) Reynolds, both of Springfield; 5 grandchildren, Jason (wife Amber), Andrea, and Joshua Reynolds, and Ron and Jason (wife Tanya)Hudgins; 10 great-grandchildren, Noah, Kaydan, Nathan, Joel, Cameron, Cory, Roman, Branden, Xavier, and Dalton; 1 sister Nancy Domst of Abbington, VA; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 1 brother Floyd Dean, and 4 sisters, Mabel Hayes, Doris Lankford, Wanda Scott, and Julie Jones.

Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, Springfield. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 5 pm with a memorial visitation prior from 3:30 pm until time of the memorial service at West Side Christian Church, Springfield. Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Inurnment will take place on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10 am at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Illinois Presbyterian Home/Fairhills Residence, Springfield.
