Mary was a loving mother, she took great pride in her family. Mary loved shopping and spending time outdoors in her flower garden. She was an avid reader and had a special place in her heart for all animals and especially her beloved cat Serria.
Early in life she worked as an EMT and dispatcher for the Village of Springboro. Later in life she began a career in retail for over 30 years.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mildred Dodson (Hornsby); sisters, Daisy Napier and Ella Pearson; grandson, Stephen Arbaugh and husband, Berlin Patrick.
Mary is survived by brother, William (Karen) Dodson; daughters, Teresa (Todd) Coffey Flanagan, Kathy Arbaugh; son, Rick (Tammy) Arbaugh; grandchildren, Rodney (Lindsey), Ryan, Bobby (Renee), Elliot, Jill (Randy), Nicole, Chad (Lena), and Heather (John); great grandchildren; Tanner, Addyson, Clayton, Aubrey, Khloe, Peyton, Eleanor, Wyatt, Dallas, Bella, Layla, Kaitlyn, Alaina, Iann; great-great grandsons, Keegan and Luca.
A visitation for Mary will be Monday, July 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio 45066, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place at Springboro Cemetery.
