Kathy Choate Thomas

She was a resident of Kettering Ohio. Kathy was born February 18th 1959 in Dayton Ohio to Truman and Louise Choate.

Kathy retired from being an Optometric Technician in 2022, she loved animals especially cats, and volunteering with her local church, LifePointe. She enjoyed serving lunch to school children and handing out candy during Halloween's trunk or treat.

Kathy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Nathan and Allie Roberts, her father, Truman Choate, mother in law, Bobbie Thomas, best friend, Larry Sams and several aunts, uncles, niece, and cousins.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert Thomas; mother, Louise Choate; daughter, Stephanie (James) Reese; brother, Tom (Deb) Choate; sisters in law, Bobbette (Percy) Baber, Nadine Willis, Jennifer Thomas, and brother in law, Kevin (Toya) Thomas. Step - children, Stephanie (Brian) Challis, Justin (Christina) Challis, and Christina Woan. Granddaughter's, Hannah, Alexandra, and Mikaila, several nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and her beloved pet cat, Ziggy.

A gathering of family and friends for Kathy will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio 45066. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023 in the Springboro Cemetery Chapel with Interment to follow.
