Joseph Andrew Lyons

Joseph Andrew Lyons, age 62, unexpectedly passed away on April 14, 2025. He was loved and is survived by his wife Patricia, his children: Jackie (Brian), Joseph (Jenna), and Matthew (Celena), his grandchildren: Reaghan, Henry, Hayley, Hudson, Holden, and baby Joseph, and his sister Peggy (Michael).

Joe was an amazing husband, father, grandfather (Bop-Bop), brother, friend, and person. He worked hard for many years providing for his family and becoming a respected leader in his field and in the community. Joe was often found in the garage working on his cars, chatting at a car show, or laughing over a beer with friends and family. He was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer advice and was the first person many turned to in a pinch. His laugh could brighten any room and he loved nothing more than to be with those he cared about.

Born in 1962 in Mt. Kisco, NY, Joe was a much loved son to Joseph F. Lyons and Margaret A. Lyons who preceded him in death. He was a rock to his many extended family members all over the country. Joe was proud to serve his church through the Knights of Columbus. While he always had a mischievous streak, he was never mean spirited and he never met a cookie that he didn’t like. God blessed him with many many people in his life who loved him dearly. He will be greatly missed.

Friends may call on the family on April 23, 2025 from 5pm-8pm at Anderson Funeral Home in Springboro, Ohio. A Mass will be held on April, 24, 2025 at 11am at St. Mary the Assumption Catholic Church in Springboro, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.
