My name is Dr Bal Moore. I was Randy Snows coach before he passed. I was at the tennis tournament there each year in Cincinnati and taught wheelchair tennis at the same time. 
Marcha and I would spend time with Traci and Jim  during  that time.  Jim was a good  wheelchair tennis player and a great friend

We lived next to the Rackett family for several years and knew Jim as a young boy and as a teenager. He was such a nice person. We were so sad to learn of his passing. It appears that he had a lovely wife and sons. He continued to live a life that was productive, full of experiences, and made a difference to others. Our condolences to all the family.

    I just want to express my gratitude to Jim + his lovely family.  They have always been kind to me + Jim always seemed to keep a positive outlook on life with it's many twists + turns.
  I feel your loss + my heart breaks for you.

Jim is in our Lord's warm arms now.
  I imagine my two sisters, husband + Mom greeting him in Heaven.

A Best Friend , how do you say goodbye 

A Best Friend, always has a lot of love to show. You were there for the birth of our daughters. Always there for their dance recital and competitions. There  for their wedding’s , the birth of their children. Loving all of us as your own family.

A Best Friend , to so many and loyal always there if they needed a place to stay or live, you welcomed everyone with open arms. 
You enjoyed your fishing trips with the guys, some of your friends leaving you at the bottom of the hill 
In Tennessee , leaving you to get ur way back to the house own ur own. Some left with hooks in their arm.  Many memories in your garage listening to music, playing pool, foosball.

Rackett, we called Jim mostly by his last name, will always be a huge inspiration.  He set a very high bar with his positive attitude, as if he never had a disability. Amazing!

Jim was a big Dan Marino fan. In the early 1990’s Jim visited Dave Jauch and I, who were living in south Florida. While out at a bar we “borrowed” a nice poster of Dan Marino. I remember that over the years Jim would have his annual billiards tournament and, there would be Dan Marino in his new home.  Probably on the wall near Spuds Mackenzie. I wonder where Spuds came from?

I am so sorry to hear about Jim.  I worked with him at Ak Steel and he was the nicest man!!    We will all miss him.   My sympathy to all of his family and pray that God be your guide through this.

I will always remember Jim at the soccer fields… cheering the kids on, helping coach when needed, smiling and cheering them in when they did so well, firm and loud when they were horsing around too much. That was a long time ago when all our boys were so young but he was such a great role model for the boys he left a long lasting impression.  He was a very caring man and it showed. I’m so sorry for your loss. Know that he will always be with you and watching over you with love.

I'm heartbroken.  Worked with Jim his whole career in Industrial Engineering at AK. My best buddy.  Always talked about his family and how much he cared for and loved them. My deepest condolences.

You were/are a great man, father, husband, and friend to all who knew you and even to all who only spoke a few words with you. No matter how hard we clashed we always settled arguements with a dumb joke and an apology followed by a hug talking about how stupid it was for us to disagree, I mean we are practically the same person how could we disagree. I mean the two absolute geniuses we are putting in radiators and bleeding break lines ended up taking 3x as long as it should’ve because both of us were too stubborn to listen to the other one. I was driving around clearing my head and man the sunset today, you would’ve loved it so much, I got my phone out to call you just from the habit. I love you man neither of us were perfect, but that didn’t stop you from being the best dad Cayden and I could’ve asked for. I love you I know I’ll see you again someday.(Let’s hope it’s not too soon, I’ll work on keeping the Tib on the road instead of a ditch at least until I’m done at UD) (Speaking of which I wanted to tell you I’m going to be terrorizing the UDPud for the next four or so years in person but this will have to do)
