Donna Jean Garman, age 88, of Springboro, Ohio passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024 at Hospice of Butler Warren County. Donna was born in Dayton, OH. on September 16, 1936 to the late Eugene Earl and Mildred Mae (Smith) Luttringer.
Donna grew up on a dairy farm that included horses and collies in Springboro, OH. She graduated from Springboro High School in 1954. She became a bookkeeper after completing a correspondence course. She acquired employment at several local businesses including the Dayton General Airport South and the Printing Works.
Donna was devoted to family and honored commitment. She embraced homemaking, always baking, canning or preserving jam in the summer, sewing and crocheting with her daughters. She gave of herself to encourage the dreams of her children. Her kind and thoughtful ways endeared her to family and friends.
Donna met her late husband, Clarence Garman, square dancing. They enjoyed many years together traveling the coast in their RV. They visited with family and friends along the way, while they toured the west.
Donna was preceded in death by her second husband, James Hatcher, her late husband, Clarence Garman; her son Daniel Foust; her two sisters, JoAnn Glagowski and Carole Evans. She is survived by her children, Connie (Lance) Underhill, Rose (Dan) Littmann, Wendy Goff, Anna (Andy) Cromer; numerous grandchildren; other family members; her sister, Glenna Duffey and the father of her children, Joseph Marion Foust.
Funeral Services are 9:30 AM Thursday December 5, 2024 at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N Main St Springboro, OH with Pastor Lester Jones officiating. Burial will be in Dayton National Cemetery.
Donna will be dearly missed and treasured in our hearts forever.
