Christopher "Matt" Matthew Black

Christopher "Matt" Matthew Black, age 42 of Franklin passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at the Atrium Medical Center. Matt was born in Kettering, Ohio on March 12, 1981, the son of the late Ronald Black and Alisa (Isbell) Reece.

In addition to his father, Matt was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Hiram Black and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Barbara Isbell

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Alisa and David Reece; his paternal grandmother, Beth Black; his brother, Michael (Marcie) Black; a step-brother, Aaron (Katie) Reece and a special friend and caregiver, Sierra Hasty. Matt is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Matt was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the Anderson Funeral Home, Springboro Chapel, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio. Interment will follow in Springboro Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the services on Thursday.
