We are so sad to announce the passing of Stanley Tishler, of Bardonia, on Saturday, March 18th, 2023. Stan died peacefully of natural causes a few weeks before his 93rd birthday. Stan was born in Brooklyn, raised in the Bronx, and moved to his home in Bardonia in the early 60’s. He was a marketing manager for the garment industry who put himself through college and an MBA program while working full-time.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marcia Tishler, their three children, Roy Tishler (Abby Zanger), Sharon Wilson (Bruce), Helene Tishler, three grandchildren, Alex Wilson (Sophie), Dana Wilson, Michael Zanger-Tishler and two great grandchildren, Ezra and Lena.
Graveside services for Stanley will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Drive, Valhalla, NY 10595.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
