Esther's career spanned over 45 years, where she worked diligently at A&P for more than 25 years, and over 20 years at OTB. Her work ethic and dedication to her roles were admired by her colleagues and friends.
Known for her kindness and generosity, Esther was actively involved in her community. She was a member of the Clarkstown Seniors Club and a passionate volunteer for the Hospice of Rockland County and Soup Angels in Nyack, NY. Her hobbies include traveling the world with friends and family, shopping, and cherishing the time spent with loved ones.
Esther is survived by her daughter, Heidi Quinn; son, Mitchel Taylor, and his wife Valerie; daughter, Renee Roberts, and her husband John. She was a cherished grandmother to Christie and Timothy Quinn, Elena and Bryan Taylor, Brianna and Ilyssa Roberts, her three great-grandchildren, and her extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kay and Irving Mondres, and her beloved husband, Bernard Ketterer.
Her life was a testament to her loving, caring nature and her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched.
Funeral services will be held Thursday November 14, 2024, 11:00 AM at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley, NY 10977. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652.
