Born in New Jersey, he attended Franklin & Marshall College, and was a graduate of York College and the St. Joseph Hospital School of Respiratory Therapy in Lancaster, PA and thereafter spent a 40+ year career as a respiratory therapist until his retirement from Seven Rivers Hospital in Crystal River, FL in 2017.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maryann Galo LoBianco; father, Thomas G. LoBianco, Sr.; mother, Shirley LoBianco; and brother, Richard LoBianco.
He is survived by his brother, Thomas "Guy" (Carol) LoBianco II of Kenilworth, NJ; three daughters: Angela (Scott) Kennedy of Spring Hill, FL, Elena (Wesley) Kuzma of Castle Rock, CO, and Alicia (Richard) Brandt of Aurora, CO; four grandchildren: Camryn (Kennadi) Kennedy-Deckert of Brooksville, Kaitlyn Kennedy of Spring Hill, FL, and Bryson and Jackson Kuzma of Castle Rock, CO; his Uncle John (Eileen) LoBianco, niece Lori and nephew Thomas III, and numerous cousins, all of New Jersey; and Maryann's daughter, Anne Britt, and her family of Crystal River, FL.
He is also survived by his first wife, friend, and mother of his children, Rosemary LoBianco Norman of Castle Rock, CO. Married for 22 years, they enjoyed a 41 year friendship even after they parted ways in 1998.
Bob was a friend to many and had a sharp, quick wit. A gifted linguist, he could converse in multiple languages, all of which was self-taught. He was a history buff and would often recite obscure facts about WWII. He was more than happy to share his political opinions with anyone, whether they wanted to hear it or not.
We believe that he is now finally at peace and without the physical pain that plagued him for so long. We also believe he would encourage others to make their amends, to pursue their passions, and to practice humility and kindness.
To that end, we ask that in lieu of flowers, friends choose to donate to, or volunteer with, organizations he supported: Tunnels to Towers, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, and Pace Center for Girls of Citrus County.
A memorial service and interment will be scheduled at a later date.
