Patrick “Chip” Thomas McCaffrey, 67, II of Brooksville, Florida passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Patrick Thomas I and Betty Marie McCaffrey. He married the love of his life Julie McCaffrey on July 20, 1985.
Chip had a career in automotive repair in Tampa, for Fred Cox Automotive, Billy Nelson’s Automotive and Dale’s Automotive as a frontend mechanic. He made many great friends while working on their vehicles. He loved playing golf, cookouts with his family, friends and time at the beach.
He is survived by his wife, Julie McCaffrey, son’s Craig Custer (Bobbie Jo), James Custer (Lisa) and daughter Jamie Custer. His four grandsons, Kyle Custer, Wyatt Rodgers, Tanner Custer and Isaac Custer, his siblings Shelia Tagliarini , Linda Marsonek, Donald McCaffrey, Joe McCaffrey and their families.
A celebration of life will be held at 6PM, October 18, 2023 at Trails at Rivard Country Club, 18001 Rivard Blvd., Brooksville, FL. 34604.
