Michael D Eddy, "Mike", 67, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away on August 23, 2018 after a long illness. Mike was born in Gary, Indiana, to Merton and Maxine Eddy, the youngest of four. He graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School in 1969. Mike met the love of his life, Mimi Radtke in Chesterton, Indiana and the couple wed in Hawaii on June 25, 1994. In 2002, after spending years with General Electric, he moved from Nevada to Florida. Mike came out of retirement to work as a clinical engineer for Baycare. His greatest joys in life included coaching and playing basketball in Indiana, fishing in Ocean City, MD and taking his family to Disney World. Mike was an adventurous and down to earth person who loved to tend to his garden. He is preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Mimi Eddy and oldest brother, Robert. He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Vivian M. Eddy; brother, Elmo; and sister, Peggy. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, September 15th at Turner Funeral Home in Spring Hill, FL.
