Marion, a former “Miss Buffalo” lived most of her life in Buffalo, New York and spent her last few years in Spring Hill, Florida. Marion loved life and kept active by roller skating, golfing, traveling, and doing crafts. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and wore her red, white and blue proudly! Most of all Marion loved her family dearly. She was kind and generous and had an infectious giggle. Marion was an inspiration to her family.
She leaves behind many words of wisdom (“use it or lose it” "free is good”) as well as many fond memories that we will treasure.
Marion married the love of her life, William E. Turner and they enjoyed 43 wonderful years together before his death in 1990. Marion leaves behind her two sons, William G. Turner and Mark Turner (Karyn) and a daughter, Diane White (Geoffrey); nine grandchildren, M.Scott, Kelsey, Jason, Bequi, Amy, Julie, Matthew, Justin, and Brittany and 18 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her two beloved sisters, Bernice Di Nunzio of Lewiston and Agnes Boehringer of West Seneca and many nieces and nephews. Marion’s other siblings, Louise, Billy, Joseph Jr. and Jeannie have predeceased her.
A Memorial Mass for Marion will be celebrated in Clarence, New York at a future date.
