Marion Miller, 87, of Spring Hill, Florida left us to be with her maker on Sunday, June 6th, 2021. Born August 27th, 1933 in Kingston, New York she was the only child of the late Orville and Matilda Palen. Marion and her future husband, Thomas Miller, were High School Sweethearts. She was widowed from her husband on October 7th, 2008 after 56 years of marriage.
She had a passion as in artist. Her beautiful landscapes and winter scenes, as well as portraits and still-life paintings were all part of her portfolio and identified her as a true artist. She would pick up a brush and finish freelancing a gorgeous piece of art in one day. There were no best only favorites. She gave many of them away to people who admired her skillful talent. She once did a painting of a Doctor’s house and property from a photograph she took. She brought it to him as a gift, but when he saw how stunningly depictive it was he delightfully excused a $1,2000 bill as payment.
Survivors include 3 daughters; Marian (Paul) Plonsky, Susan Kleckner (late Ed Kleckner), and Cathy Andrus (late Jack Andrus). and 3 sons: Tom Miller, Charlie Miller, and Hank (Mary) Miller. Included are many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Marion will be placed next to her late husband Thomas Miller at the Montrepose Cemetery in Kingston, New York.
