Lois Colleen Kremer

Lois Colleen Kremer was born May 18, 1929 in Pittsburgh, Pa, and went to be with her Lord March 1, 2015. Lois was a wonderful wife and best friend to her husband of 63 years and 8 months, James Kremer. She was a loving mother to her 10 children: Dan and wife Sandy of PA, John and wife Ann of PA, Ed and wife Debbie of KY, Kathy Holsopple and husband Dennis of VT, Matt and wife Susan of FL, Mike and wife Kiki of FL, Rose and partner John, of FL, Diane widow of Dennis Gray, Chris and wife Hope of KY, and Tom and wife Tiffany of FL. Lois and Jim also have 25 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She also has a brother Don McGahey of NY. And many friends in the 4 states they lived in. Especially close to her were friends from the Shady Hills Methodist Church and Senior Center. Her best friend of 80 years, Florence Beck Benzinger, recently went to be with the Lord. Jim and Lois met on a blind date in 1950 and married June 30, 1951. Lois worked for Bell Telephone when she met Jim, then she became a full time wife and mother. Lois was a compassionate caregiver as a Nurse’s aide/assistant. She was certified and worked in that position in 3 states; Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Florida. Lois’ family meant the world to her. Some of her other favorite things are butterflies and giraffes. Her favorite colors are blue and purple Lois will be missed by many, and lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.
