I can't believe it's been a year!!! I know you are still with us.. I feel you everyday! I miss you everyday.. I love you so much and some days I reach for the phone to call you.. We are taking care of Dad just like we promised you! This family is not the same without you. Watch over us Mommy..I love you to the Heavens and Back...

Mr. Phil, Nadine, Michael, Denise and all your families,
I am so sorry for your loss.  Mrs. Kathy was a very loving wife and Mother and I know she will be dearly missed.  I know what you are all going through and I pray that knowing she is no longer in pain and that she is with our heavenly Father brings some peace to you all.  
I remember her for her unconditional love for her family, her love of books and her Pepsi!  I remember her putting on her old records and she and Mr. Phil dancing together in the living room.  
Watching Mrs. Kathy and Mr. Phil together was a real inspiration when I was a kid as to what I wanted in a relationship when I grew up.  It took me 2 tries to find what they found on the first try.  They were made for each other and I know it is going to take a huge adjustment to life without her.  You are a strong supportive family.  Lean on each other and talk about her often, keep her spirit alive for her grandchildren.  I will continue to pray for your families healing during this dark time in your lives.  I love you all!

TO MY UNCLE PHIL,AND MY THREE COUSINS,NADINE,DENISE,MICHAEL. I am sorry it took me so long to sit down and put into words,what i think and feel in my heart.I meant no disrespect. My heart again for the third time this year is broken. I love and miss you all very much. I am happy that i was able to be apart of your 50th anniversary,And to see so many of my cousins and relatives all together,just like the good old days.It makes me think about all the picnics at Aunt Carols house,and the ones at Uncle Paul and Aunt sues home.I miss all of my relatives very much. just because were all spread out,and living are own lives, doesn't mean i don't think about everybody all the time. One day we will all be together again.Having fun and making the most of the day.My heart and my pray's go out to all of you. Phil, Nadine, Michael and Denise and to all of Kathy's grandchildren, I am deeply saddened by her passing.  I worked directly with Kathy for 10 years.  I called her my "working mother."  We became very close through the years and I thank God our paths came to cross.  I learned very quickly the deep, committed love Kathy had for her family.  Kathy lit up whenever she would talk about Phil or one of her children or grandchildren.  You were truly everything to her.  I loved hearing about how many Christmas presents she had for each, because everyone had to have the same number of gifts.  She kept a list!  It wasn't long after Christmas that she would start shopping for the next Christmas season.  Kathy's face glowed when she would watch us at work open one of her gifts.  She LOVED to see the look on your face when you saw what she got you, because it was personal to your own style.  Her faith was evident whenever you were near her.  I loved to ask her questions about the Bible and she was always so knowledgeable and quick to point you in the right direction.  If she didn't know the answer, we would look it up.  Kathy carried the light of Jesus with her wherever she went.  You could see it!  There is a special place in my heart where Kathy will live forever.  I will never forget her and the memories I have are all wonderful, precious memories.  I wish I could see the look on her face when she met Jesus!  Stay strong, stay together as your mom would have wanted all of you to be and your family will one day be reunited with her when God calls each you home.  God bless you all!

It breaks my heart knowing that Aunt Kathy is gone but at the same time find comfort knowing that she is no longer suffering and in pain. It's never easy saying goodbye to someone that holds a special place in your heart, as my Aunt Kathy did to so many people. Her smile, laughter, and just the sound of her voice would light up a room when she entered. Our Lord and Savior called another angel home to have everlasting life within his kingdom. As my Aunt may not be here in body, she is here still with us in sprit. My strongest condolences go out to the entire family.  Kathleen Esposito was the epitome of strength and wisdom to me.  I considered her my mother for a good portion of my adult life.  Serving in the military is not always easy.  You miss family.  She always helped to bridge the gap and encourage our family to hold fast realizing it was only temporary.  Watching Kathy and Phil live life gave you hope in a crazy mixed up world.  To me they made time stand still always viewing each other as high school sweethearts.  We decided to name our daughter's middle name Kathleen to always honor this great leader.  I will miss watching football with her.  She had a magical way to put the voo doo on opposing teams forcing them to turn over the ball, from her very own living room.  I will always celebrate Christmas with a heightened interest and ten times the energy that I put into Christmas prior to meeting her.  I will miss being her electronics go to guy and personal geek squad.  I will miss her secret ingredients that she mustered up in her Italian red sauce.  I used to joke with her that one of her rings worn, had a secret compartment with that one secret ingredient that she dumped in when nobody was looking, thus making her sauce impossible to duplicate.  I will miss our camping and traveling trips.  She was always planning her next road trip.  This is how we should all live our lives, never remaining stagnant and realizing how important it is to see the autumn leaves change colors.  She was the one voice of reason for me when I found myself in situations that required strategic thinking.  Family was her life. Her kids and grandkids.  Her kids by marriage.  I know in my heart that Kathleen Esposito was a Christian woman who is now in eternal peace and receiving God's blessings as we speak.  We are all better people for having the honor to spend any amount of time with her.  To be mentored by her, and feel loved by her, and for that we all thank you.
