First Sergeant James Allen Beck, 66, of Spring Hill, Florida. Went home peacefully to be with the Lord on July 14, 2024 at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Jim who was known as Sarge was born April 30, 1958 in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana to Lewis Beck and Kay Baumgartner. Jim married Michelle in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 12, 2000.
Jim dedicated and proudly served the country that he loved, with 26 years of highly decorated military service in the United States Army.
Jim graduated Huntington North High School, and went on to receive a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources at Oakland City University. Jim was also a 4th Degree in the Knights of Columbus. Jim was extremely patriotic and was a very faithful man. He also had a great love for his family, was an avid angler, and cherished road-trips.
Jim is predeceased by his Grandparents Ethel and Walter Sheets, his Father Lewis Beck, as well as his Son Jason Matthew Beck.
Jim is survived by his Wife Michelle Beck, Daughter Jamie Straley, Sons; Jeremy (Jennifer) Beck and Justin (Laura) Beck. Jim is also survived by his Mother Kay Baumgartner. He is also survived by Grandchildren Alexis (Reid) Straley, Elijah (Harmony) Straley, Payton Hudson, Jillian Hudson and Avery Beck. Jim is also survived by Great-Grandchildren Paisley and Lainey. Brothers; Greg (Patty) Sprinkle, Jeff (Judy) Sprinkle, Sister Julie Beck, and Cousins Joey (Nancy) Beatty, and Ruth (Dan) Woodard. Jim is also survived by Dog Gracie Beck.
Jim's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.

A visitation for James will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Turner Funeral Homes, Crematory and Cemetery, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609.
